PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enhance visibility of a liquid crystal display by providing a portable terminal in which the view angle of the liquid crystal display can be adjusted optimally even when the liquid crystal display and a camera imaging section are provided in the same case. SOLUTION: The portable terminal comprises a liquid crystal display 21, and a rotary mechanism 25 for holding the liquid crystal display 21 rotatably on a case 27 in the widening direction of view angle of the liquid crystal display 21. Alternatively, the portable terminal may comprises the liquid crystal display, the camera imaging section, a section for storing a plurality of drive voltages of the liquid crystal display, a section performing switch operation, and a control section for selecting one of the plurality of drive voltages depending on the switch operation at the operating section.
