PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a shutter device with improved crime prevention performance which cannot be easily cut even when tools are used such as a pair of snips or a hacksaw without taking measures such as increasing the plate thickness of a slat of a shutter curtain. SOLUTION: The shutter device is provided with the shutter curtain 1 constituted by connecting the required number of slats to one other. Then a reinforcing material 8 which can rotate is inserted to the space 7 which is formed at the connection between the slats adjacent to each other up and down.
