PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an environment-friendly slit grating which is formed by imparting water retaining performance to a slit grating originally having no water retaining performance, to thereby contribute to ease of a heat island phenomenon and lowering of the temperature of a road surface by virtue of retained water. SOLUTION: According to the structure of the slit grating, water overflowing holes are formed in an upper portion of each side plate of a slit grating main body, and a water permeable filler is filled in the slit grating main body.
