PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a durability testing method for a pneumatic tire capable of evaluating efficiently durability of the tire after deteriorated by use, in conformity with actual travel, while shortening a testing time. SOLUTION: Cycles of swinging the testing tire 2 brought into prescribed internal pressure after rim-assembled from an angle A1 to an angle A2 while drum-traveling under the condition where the testing tire is applied with a load on an endurance test drum 1, and of returning it again to the angle A1 are repeated to bring a swing width B of a slip angle into 3°or more, and the drum endurance test is carried out after executing a preprocessing travel of bringing a travel distance into 200 km or more.
