PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a circuit constitution for converting from voltage for logic driving to voltage for element driving without increasing a length in the vertical direction with respect to the arranging direction of each segment. SOLUTION: On a substrate, a heater/driver array comprising a heater for generating heat energy utilized for delivering an ink and a driving circuit for driving this is mounted. The heater is driven by a block driving using a plurality of groups as a unit. In either of an inputting circuit, a shift registering circuit or a decoder circuit, based on a printing data signal inputted on a logic signal voltage level (VDD), a block selecting signal of a driving signal voltage level (VHT) and a heater driving signal corresponding to the selecting block are formed. The heater/driver array drives the heater according to the block selecting signal and the heater driving signal of this driving signal voltage level.
