PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a thermal printer unit in which paper jamming is prevented by preventing the feeding portion of a sheet from sticking to the guide surface of a sheet feed guide after printing. SOLUTION: In the thermal printer unit 11 comprising a roll sheet 13 being supported rotatably in the apparatus body 12, a print head 16 for printing on the feeding portion 13a of a sheet fed out from the roll sheet 13 side, and a sheet feed guide 22 having a guide face 24a for introducing the feeding portion 13a of a sheet after printing and regulating the direction to a discharge opening 18, the guide face 24a of the sheet feed guide 22 is provided with a through hole 26 so that it can partially touch the corresponding sheet surface of the feeding portion 13a of a sheet after printing thus reducing contact area with the feeding portion 13a of a sheet. Consequently, the feeding portion 13a of a sheet is prevented from sticking to the guide face 24a after printing thus causing paper jamming. COPYRIGHT: (C)2006,JPO&NCIPI
