PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve the problem of a disposable or dedicated umbrella cover for allowing the user to enter a room with a folded umbrella wet with rain; that after use the disposable cover becomes rubbish and the dedicated cover has to be carried by the user in a wet state and rainwater retained therein cannot be discharged easily. SOLUTION: When a person enters a room with an umbrella wet with rain, he or she opens the bottom cap (5) of a tandem tube, into which the ferrule (1) of the umbrella is inserted, lets out the umbrella cover (3) therefrom to cover the whole of the umbrella (6), so that rainwater is prevented from leaking outside. When going out from the room, the umbrella cover (3) is pulled up before using the umbrella (6) to extend a spring (4) and discharge rainwater retained in the cover and then it is stored in the cylinder, so that the umbrella cover (3) can be taken out or stored in the cylinder without wetting the user's hand.
