HOOD WITH EXCISING FUNCTION AND ENDOSCOPE

A hood (1) with excising function fitted to the tip part of the body insertion part of an endoscope. The hood comprises a body part (2) formed in a cylindrical shape and a plate-like excising part (4) axially projected from the tip of the body part (2). The excising part (4) comprises a laterally extending tip electrode (6) at its tip part. Accordingly, excising operation to an organic tissue can be easily and accurately performed by the hood (1) with excising function.
