<p>The pump comprises a housing (10) containing a pump chamber (11) and a return spring which returns the pump to its neutral position after each actuation. The chamber comprises an outlet valve (40) which is closed by product pressure when the pump is actuated and is mechanically opened by a valve control element (60) at the end of actuation when the dose is complete. There are valve locking means for maintaining the outlet valve in the open position while the product is ejected from the pump chamber. The outlet valve is closed by the valve control element by means of the spring once the liquid product has been ejected. An Independent claim is included for a fluid distribution device comprising the pump.</p> |
