<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To easily determine whether or not an impact has been exerted to a case. <P>SOLUTION: From first and second sidewalls 7a, 7b, second projection parts 20, 21 are projected. The second projection parts 20, 21 are integrally formed with the first and second sidewalls 7a, 7b. The second projection parts 20, 21 are separated from a bottom wall 7c, and are provided like beams between a boss 10 and the first and second sidewalls. With this configuration, if electronic equipment 1 is dropped accidentally, force generated when it collides against a floor face or the like is transmitted to the second projection parts 20, 21 from first and second sidewalls 7a, 7b. The force transferred to the second projection parts 20, 21 reaches the boss 10. By reaction from the boss 10, force is further exerted to the second projection parts 20, 21. The second projection parts 20, 21 may be broken at one end or broken and bent at some midpoint thereof, thus permitting determination of the history of a collision by dropping. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2006,JPO&NCIPI</p> |
