<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a technique which can easily display a consensus sequence as the design target of a primer. <P>SOLUTION: In the sequence data of analysis target, a multiple alignment based on a base sequence is performed to make the consensus sequence of the base sequence, and a multiple alignment based on an amino acid sequence is performed to make the consensus sequence of the amino acid sequence. The consensus sequence of the amino acid sequence is inversely translated to make the consensus sequence of the base sequence. Namely, two of the consensus sequence based on the amino acid sequence and the consensus sequence based on the base sequence are made.
