<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image processor capable of restricting editing/correction work of data to an unspecified user. <P>SOLUTION: The printer has a means for internally storing print data transmitted by a print data generator and printing them asynchronously with operation in transmission. The user sets data change restriction conditions to a document when transmitting the print data. A document attribute is generated corresponding to the restriction conditions and added/notified to the print data. The document attribute attached to the print data is acquired when receiving the print data in the printer. The change restriction information of the print data is generated from the acquired document attribute.
