摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a weld joint of different materials, a weld joint in which compression strength is enhanced against loading in the compressing direction relative to a weld line. SOLUTION: This joint is a different material weld joint 1 in which welding is performed by superposing an end of an iron-based material 2 so as to make it an upper side or an outer side relative to an end of an aluminum-based material 3. Two weld lines 6a, 6b are provided, in the end 2a of the iron-based material 2 and in the rear side of the end 2a, with an interval in-between. In the rear end side of the iron-based material 2, there are preliminarily provided spaces 4a with a specific interval apart along the weld line 6a on the rear end side, wherein an aluminum welding material 7 is meltingly filled in these spaces, with the two materials welded in a manner that a bead 5a by the aluminum welding material is formed. In addition, in the end 2a of the iron-based material, the two materials are designed to be welded in a manner that a bead 5b by the aluminum welding material is formed along the end weld line 6b.
