PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To display traffic information of different time zones on the same screen. SOLUTION: A navigation system acquires traffic information for each time zone (for example, congestion degree), that is, time series traffic information (predicted traffic information), and displays the traffic information of a time zone that the predicted arrival time at the point belongs to on a map for an arbitrary point. The result of searching course may be displayed. For the link of a middle point on the course, traffic information at the predicted arrival time at the link is displayed.
