PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve strength of a display panel against external pressure. SOLUTION: A display apparatus comprises; the display panel 30; a casing 12 in which the display panel 30 is provided and a panel aperture section 33 for exposing a display section of the display panel 30 to outside is formed; and a support plate 38 for supporting the display panel 30 to the casing 12. The casing 12 and the support plate 38 hold the display panel 30, by attaching a boss 35c which is projected to either of these, to a fixing member 40 which is provided on the other.
