PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a timepiece capable of regulating a clearance between a hand and a dial without increasing the number of part items even when a thickness of the dial is different, capable of controlling the parts easily, and capable of reducing a cost. SOLUTION: In this timepiece 1a provided with the thick dial 10a, the first recessed part 131a is formed in a portion located in the central part of a backface of a mechanical body attaching plate 13, and including a portion abutting to a front face of a movement 111, and the second recessed part 132a is formed in a portion including a portion abutting to or engaged with an opening end 12a of a rear frame 12 in the backface of the mechanical body attaching plate 13. In this timepiece 1b provided with the thin dial 10b, the first protruded part 131b is formed to correspond to the first recessed part 131a in the portion including the portion abutting to the front face of a movement 111, and the second protruded part 132b is formed to correspond to the the second recessed part 132a in the portion including the portion abutting to or engaged with the opening end 12a of a rear frame 12, in the backface of the mechanical body attaching plate 13.
