PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a Stirling engine and a Stirling cooling storage having this Stirling engine, for enhancing cooling efficiency, as a result of enhancing cooling efficiency of a heat radiating part. SOLUTION: A Stirling refrigerator 4 has an outer shell body, a cylinder 13 installed in the outer shell body, a piston 14 and a displacer 15 for mutually reciprocating in the cylinder 13 with a phase difference, a compression space 17A formed between the piston 14 and the displacer 15, an expansion space 17B formed on the opposite side of the piston 14 to the displacer 15, and a regenerator 16 arranged in a communicating passage for communicating the compression space 17A with the expansion space 17B. The heat radiating part 2 is arranged on the compression space 17A side to the regenerator 16. A heat absorbing part 3 is arranged on the expansion space 17B side to the regenerator 16. In this Stirling refrigerator 4, a male screw part 31A meshing with an annular external heat exchanger is formed on an outer peripheral surface of the heat radiating part 2.
