PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a carton containing sanitary papers which can be placed widthwise or lengthwise, used with an article put on the upper surface of the carton, or inserted into a small gap, such as a door pocket or a dashboard of a car and a shelf in an office, according to an environment for use. SOLUTION: The sanitary paper carton has an outlet formed on its upper face, and contains a plurality of sets of folded sanitary papers. An outlet is formed on at least one of front/rear and left/right side faces of the carton, the outlet being encircled with a ridge line made by the one side face and the upper face of the carton and with a notching line connected to the ridge line. The outlet on the side face can be opened and closed with a single-opening flap hinged on the ridge line. An opening is formed when the outlet on the side face is opened, and projections for guiding the removal of the sanitary papers are formed on both left/right ends of the opening, respectively, to be counter to each other.
