PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enable sewing preparation by an adjustment mechanism even if the thickness of cloth changes, to continuously sew ordinary front opening parts and curved front opening parts in an alignment state, and to easily adjust a space between a preceding front opening part and a succeeding front opening part. SOLUTION: The sewing machine for front opening parts has a front opening part conveying part 20 arranged upstream of a front opening part conveying passage 2a arranged between a front opening part supplying part 10 and the sewing machine 51, and a conveying rate adjustment part 40 arranged downstream of the front opening part conveying part 20. The conveying part 20 has a plurality of conveying roller pairs comprising driving rollers (21-23) and supporting rollers (24-26) arranged so as to face each other vertically. The conveying rate adjustment part 40 has a vertical pair of rollers comprising a driving roller 41 and a supporting roller 42, and a roller space adjustment means 44 for adjusting a space (d1) between the driving roller 41 and the supporting roller 42. Before the succeeding front opening part (F2) conveyed from the conveying part 20 is inserted into the space (d1) between the driving roller 41 and the supporting roller 42 of the conveying rate adjustment means 40, a required space (D2) is formed between the preceding front opening part (F1) and the succeeding front opening part (F2).
