The present invention provides polypeptides comprising the amino acid sequence shown in SEQ IN NO:2 or amino acid residues 9-27 of SEQ IN NO:2(all called CKLF1 C-terminus polypeptides), polynucleotides encoding CKLF1 C-terminus polypeptides, and gene engineering vectors and host cells of the polynucleotides. Furthermore, the invention provides medical compositions comprising the said polypeptides, polynucleotides, vectors or host cells, and/or one or more pharmaceutically acceptable salts or pharmaceutically acceptable carriers or vehicles. The invention also provides a method for detecting in vitro if expression levels of the said polypeptides and polynucleotides in samples of tested persons change. The invention also discloses monoclonal antibodies or polyclonal antibodies, which bind specifically to the polypeptides or active derivatives thereof according to the present invention. The polypeptides and polynucleotides according to the invention are useful for preventing or treating HIV infection, allergies, graft rejection, cerebral disease or autoimmune diseases.
