NICKEL SLURRY, PRODUCTION METHOD THEREFOR, AND NICKEL PASTE OR NICKEL INK USING THE NICKEL SLURRY

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a nickel slurry of which the nickel particles are fined, have sharp particle size distribution and adequate dispersibility; a production method therefor; and a nickel paste or nickel ink using the nickel slurry.

SOLUTION: The nickel slurry comprises nickel particles with an average primary particle diameter of 100 nm or smaller and an organic solvent. The method for producing the nickel slurry includes heating a reaction liquid containing a nickel salt, a polyol and a noble metal catalyst to a reaction temperature, reducing nickel ions in the reaction liquid while keeping the reaction temperature, and subsequently replacing the reaction liquid with an organic solvent, wherein amino acid is added to the reaction liquid.
