<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a communication apparatus which realizes intranet connection in a network where communication protocols different in kind coexist. <P>SOLUTION: The communication apparatus comprises: a first storage part wherein a destination address to a first communication group or a second communication group and tunnel identification information specifying the attribute information of a route specified by address information used on the first communication group are registered; a destination retrieval part for retrieving whether or not the destination address extracted from a received packet is registered in the first storage part; a second storage part wherein communication propriety information indicating whether or not the route on the first communication group specified by the tunnel identification information can be constructed by a private address; and a control part for controlling the propriety of encapsulation according to the communication propriety information at the time of extracting the address information used in the first communication group from the destination address and encapsulating the packet when the packet is to be transmitted through the first communication group. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2006,JPO&NCIPI</p> |
