PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a communication apparatus enabling a user to understand a message such as the cause of undelivering electronic data represented by an electronic mail. SOLUTION: The language information of the transmission source of the received electronic mail is detected from, for example, header information. If a message must be transmitted to the transmission source, such as in a case where an error occurs, a message is created on the basis of the detected language information, and the message is transmitted.
