PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a crime prevention video managing system capable of immediately monitoring and responding to an abnormal condition when an abnormality occurs in an apparatus. SOLUTION: A security camera 12 is installed in a place where crime prevention measures are required such as an elevator cage 11, and its video information is recorded in a video recording apparatus 3. In this system, a body sensor 18 is provided in the security camera 12. When a person enters in the elevator cage 11, the security camera 12 sends a presence signal via a transmitter/receiver 16. If a response signal to the presence signal is sent from a mobile terminal 14, the security camera 12 and the mobile terminal 14 automatically exchange information. With this structure, the information necessary for maintenance is obtained in the crime prevention place with ease so that a maintenance and inspection work is facilitated.
