PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an intake air control system capable of securing a sufficient quantity of intake air and capable of generating a strong gas flow at the same time. SOLUTION: The intake air control system is provided with an intake air passage 1 connected to a combustion chamber 5 and an intake air flow control means 15 formed with a first opening part 8 biassed in one way with a view in the axial direction of the intake air passage by closing a part of a flow passage cross section of the intake air passage 1, and controls distribution of intake air flow by biassing a flow of the intake air downstream of the first opening part 8 toward a side formed with the first opening part 8. The intake air flow control means 15 is provided with a second opening part 9 having an opening area smaller than that of the first opening part 8 and biassed to a side opposite to the side formed with the first opening part 8 at a position separated from the intake air passage wall surface 13.
