PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a convenient autonomous travel monitor having a high security effect by preventing a monitoring place and a moving path from being predicted. SOLUTION: A traveling main body 1 having a monitoring function has: a travel position recognition means 4 for recognizing a position during the travel and storing the travel path; a specific position storage means 6 for storing a specific position on the travel path; and a patrol order decision means 8 for changing moving paths of places stored in the specific position storage means 6 on the moving path by random numbers for each time of patrol. The traveling main body 1 moves and travels on the basis of patrol orders decided by the patrol number decision means 8. Consequently, the moving orders of places on the moving path stored in the specific position storage means 6 are changed for each time of patrol to improve a security effect because a monitoring place and a moving path can not be predicted, and the autonomous travel monitor is convenient without the need of periodically changing patrol path setting.
