PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a projector capable of preventing light from being leaked to the outside of a device without making the entire device larger. SOLUTION: By setting black printing being a light shielding coating film with which a circuit board 73 is coated as a light shielding means, a part for intercepting stray light caused by unintended reflection by an object on an optical path need not be newly provided. Thus, the projector 100 is made compact as a whole. In such a case, the light is prevented from being leaked even though a slit 81 or the like exists on an outside case 80.
