PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a display apparatus capable of realizing white balance adjustment of a light emitting display panel by a comparatively simple optical system. SOLUTION: The display apparatus 10 is equipped with the light emitting display panel having an organic electroluminescence (EL) element 23 between a pair of EL element front substrate 21 and EL element rear substrate 22, in which at least an upper side substrate is transparent. On an upper face which is a light emitting direction of the organic EL display panel 20, a liquid crystal panel 30 including; a liquid crystal element 31 having a liquid crystal layer 34 which is pinched between a pair of transparent liquid crystal element front substrate 32 and liquid crystal element rear substrate 33, and electrodes arranged on upper and lower face of the liquid crystal layer 34; and a front side polarized plate 35 and a rear side polarized plate 36 which pinch the liquid crystal element 31 and mutually make crossed Nicols, is laminated.
