PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a door sensor device for an elevator with less detection error in a simple structure. SOLUTION: This door sensor device is provided with a vertical frame provided on a doorway of an elevator, a door provided to adjoin the vertical frame to laterally move toward the vertical frame when the doorway is opened, a light projector provided at a door side corner part of the vertical frame on the doorway side, a light receiver provided at a corner part of the vertical frame above or below the light projector, a detection part through which light from the light projector passes, and a detection means to detect if the light from the light projector passing through the detection part is received by the light receiver or not.
