PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enable a person other than a player to recognize a set rate in a game machine and a game system provided with a rate setting function. SOLUTION: A slot machine 1A puts out an allotment corresponding to the set rate among the plurality of rates which can be set. The slot machine 1A comprises: an IC chip reader-writer 12c for reading stored rate kind information A and B from figures 70A and 70B storing the rate kind information A and B indicating the kinds of the respective rates; and a rate setting means for turning the rate corresponding to the rate kind information A and B read by the IC chip reader-writer 12c among the plurality of rates to the set rate.
