[Also in Division H2] A tool 10 for extracting a removable contact pin 30 from a bore 26 in an insulator body 24 comprises a resilient tubular member having a bore 16 adapted to slide over the end of the contact pin and a tapered bore section 18 adapted when the tool is pressed inwardly to grip the pin and an ejector rod 12 for ejecting the pin from the tubular member upon removal of the pin from the insulator body. The contact pin 30 is retained in the insulator body by means of spring fingers 28a of a retaining clip 28. |
