摘要 <P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a signal processing circuit of a self-luminous display device, which can reduce power consumption. <P>SOLUTION: The signal processing circuit includes; a means for obtaining first RGB signals and a W signal by converting RGB input signals to RGBW signals; a means for calculating such RGB signal components capable of being converted to an X signal, of the first RGB signals that at least one of subtraction results of RGB resulting from subtracting these RGB signal components from the first RGB signals is 0, on the basis of RGB signal values for realizing chromaticity of X and a maximum luminance by RGB signals; a means for calculating the second RGB signal by subtracting the RGB signal components from the first RGB signals to calculated second RGB signals; and a means for calculating an X signal corresponding to the RGB signal components. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2006,JPO&NCIPI
