<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve a print throughput by prompting the reuse of image data in an entire network. <P>SOLUTION: An image processor comprises a communication means for communicating with a device on a communication network; a file sharing means for sharing a file with the device on the communication network by the communication means; a determination means for determining whether a page hash in a print job received by the communication means coincides with an entry in a global management table shared by the sharing means; an acquisition means for acquiring the image data related to a hash value when the determination means determines that the entry having the same hash value is included in the global management table; a conversion means for converting the print data to image data; a local data storage means for storing the image data and each kind of information; and a printing means for printing the image data to a print medium. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2006,JPO&NCIPI |
