PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a motor which can be made compact in the axial direction by suppressing cogging torque, and to provide its manufacturing process. SOLUTION: Since segment magnets 24N, 24S of different polarity arranged closely in the circumferential direction are separated from each other by a ring magnet 23, the inventive motor 10 can prevent the problem of a conventional motor, i.e. flux leakage. Since the ring magnet 23 is subjected to skew magnetization so that the segment magnets 24N, 24N(24S, 24S) of the same polarity corresponding each other while being shifted by a predetermined angle are connected through a magnet of the same polarity, different polarity parts are separated from each other even between the skew magnetization parts 23N, 23S in the ring magnet 23 and the segment magnets 24N, 24S thus preventing flux leakage.
