AMPLIFICATION SUPPORT CONTACT UNIT

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an amplification support contact unit capable of being mounted to an existing auxiliary relay mounting plate when the operation status of an auxiliary relay in a switchboard must be monitored, and thereby to obviate the need to install an additional auxiliary relay in a separate place. SOLUTION: This amplification support contact unit is provided with: an existing auxiliary relay where a normally-closed moving contact operates simultaneously with a normally-opened moving contact; and an adapter base with a first transistor and a second transistor mounted thereon; is so structured that the first transistor is turned on in the on-state of the normally-closed moving contact to provide a level "H" output; the second transistor is turned off in the off-state of the normally-opened moving contact to provide a level "L" output; the first transistor is turned off in the off-state of the normally-closed moving contact to provide a level "L" output; and the second transistor is turned on in the on-state of the normally-opened moving contact to provide a level "H" output; and is characterized by mounting the adapter base and the existing auxiliary relay on the existing auxiliary relay mounting plate.
