PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a mechanism which, when an object recorded in stream recording becomes plural, discerns if there is logical continuity among those objects. SOLUTION: Management information for a recording medium includes information (ESOB_SMLI) for indicating the continuity among the multiple objects. When the multiple objects include a preceding objects and a succeeding objects here, the information (ESOB_SMLI) for indicating the continuity is configured to include a continuous recording flag, for indicating that the succeeding object is continuously recorded with the preceding object.
