PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a design support system, which actively evaluates and applies technologies corresponding to new technologies or know-hows invented by designers, and examines application items without omission to notify parties concerned of them if they are determined to be effective, share the applied technology contents at the early stage and achieve improvements of technologies and design quality. SOLUTION: The design support system includes a know-how registration and application means for applying technologies corresponding to new technologies or know-hows invented by designers in a design process to evaluate them, a know-how retrieval/determination processing means for retrieving applied new technologies or know-hows and registering evaluation results, and a notification processing means for notifying evaluation results.
