PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent tensional distortion from arising on an optical fiber in the optical fiber cable even if the optical fiber cable mounted with an optical connector at the end is bent. SOLUTION: The optical fiber cable with a connector 1 is provided with an optical connector 5 fixed to the end of the optical fiber cable 3. The optical fiber cable 3 comprises; an optical fiber cord 13 consisting of an optical fiber 7, a reinforcement 9 longitudinally attached to the periphery of the optical fiber 7, and a cord sheath 11 covering the periphery of this reinforcement 9; a braid layer 15 provided on the periphery of this optical fiber cord 13; and a sheath 17 covering the periphery of this braid layer 15. Moreover, the optical connector 5 is attached to the tip of the optical fiber 7 led out of the end of the optical fiber cable 3, and also has a braid layer fixing part 29 for fixing the braid layer 15 led out of the end of the optical fiber cable 3.
