PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for producing a meshed spacer fabric as a so-called warp knit spacer fabric which is a three dimensional warp knit fabric consisting of the 2 pieces of base clothes and obtained by joining 2 base clothes with a joining yarn by having a distance, in which at least one of the base clothes is constituted as a mesh, and the mesh is clearly expressed with a good balance of the mesh, which is designed in considering the physical properties of the three-dimensional knit fabric, and the spacer fabric produced by the method. SOLUTION: This method for producing the mesh by forming the mesh of at least one of the base clothes by using the 2 rows of jacquard reeds and under-wrapping sinker loops of the mesh organization by 2 kinds of jacquard yarns guided by the jacquard reeds so as to present a mesh with coarse stitches and a mesh with fine stitches as mixed, also the balanced mesh produced by the method and the spacer fabric having meshes arranged at desired positions are characteristically provided.
