PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a car door driving device of an elevator, having a suitable structure, a car door motor of which is not an obstacle to inspection work. SOLUTION: This car door driving device of an elevator includes: a car door driving device frame 6 provided on the top of the front of a cage 1; a driven sheave 11 provided in the car door driving device frame 6; a car door motor 13 fitted to the door driving device frame 6; a driving sheave 12 provided on the car door motor 13; and an endless driving rope 15 stretched to wrap the driven sheave 11 and the driving sheave 12 and circularly travelled to drive the car door 3 to open and close a doorway 2.
