PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enable a user himself or herself to adjust each timing for a closed caption, a video image, and a speech in a live broadcast program of a digital broadcasting in a digital broadcasting signal from a record medium in which the program is recorded. SOLUTION: This information reproducing apparatus is provided with an input separation means 1 for separating video-image/speech information and closed caption information; a record medium 9 for recording the video-image/speech information and the closed caption information separated by the separation means 1; a closed caption display means 4 which reads the closed caption information out from the record medium 9, and allows a display/output device 10 to display a closed caption on the basis of the read-out closed caption information; an output time difference input means 6 which receives an input for correcting each deviation of a video image and a speech from the closed caption by the user; and an output time difference setting means 3 which sets an output time difference for adjusting each deviation of the video image and the speech from the closed caption on the basis of the input received by the input means 6, and performs timing adjustment.
