PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To relatively inexpensively provide an audio lead-free wire as an oxygen-free copper wire the surface of which is less corroded by oxidation and is less deteriorated in tone quality. SOLUTION: An oxygen-free copper wire is generally easily available, has a characteristic less changed by heat or flex during use, and has a purity of 99.99% or higher. The wire is used as a stock wire, the copper wire is directly gold-plated in the form of an extremely thin layer.
