An image heating apparatus includes magnetic flux generating means; a heat generating element for generating heat by a magnetic flux generated by the magnetic flux generating means, the heat generating element being effective to heat an image on a recording material; electric power supplying means for supplying electric power to the magnetic flux generating means; electric power changing means for changing electric power to be supplied to the magnetic flux generating means on the basis of a temperature rise property of the heat generating element, in a period from start of electric power supply to the magnetic flux generating means to reaching of a temperature of the heat generating element to a predetermined level. |
