The invention relates to an intelligent interactive system and method for information management in a communications network by bringing together several participants. Said invention is used, in particular for internet easily-upgradable interactive systems and for electronic e-mail systems. The inventive method and a system for carrying out said method bring together a set of participants, potential information sources, which can be information senders and/ or recipients in a communications network. They make it possible, in particular, to maintain a necessary balance for a good processing and stability of the information exchange process. The inventive method consists in providing the participant community with initial information by a sending participant, in receiving said information by other participants, in determining a compatibility value between the initial information and a potential recipient for all other participants, in selecting at least one potential recipient according to the previously determined compatibility values and in transmitting the initial information to each selected recipient. The determination of the respective compatibility values between the respective initial information and the other participants consists in determining a processing rate for each participant.
