<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a vehicular drive supporting device capable of certainly recognizing the existence of a peripheral object which may contact with a vehicle. <P>SOLUTION: The vehicular drive supporting device 100 comprises a camera 100 shooting surroundings including a road surface of a vehicle concerned, a road surface projection processing portion 30 carrying out road surface projection on the basis of the shot image and producing an image projected on the road surface, a three-dimensional sensor 30 and a height measuring portion 32 detecting the height of a peripheral article existing around the vehicle concerned, a height comparing portion 34 comparing the detected height with a reference value, a dangerous part detecting portion 36 detecting a part higher than the reference value as a dangerous part, an image correction processing portion 40 carrying out image correction processing highlighting the dangerous part in the image produced by the road surface projection processing portion 20, and an display processing portion 50 and a display device 60 displaying the image after corrected by the image correction processing portion 40. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2006,JPO&NCIPI |
