<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a droplet discharge apparatus or the like capable of discharging/landing a functional liquid droplet on four corner parts of each pixel region without complicating the drive control of a functional liquid droplet discharge head. <P>SOLUTION: The droplet discharge apparatus is provided with a carriage 14 mounting a functional liquid droplet discharge head 18 rotatably, a set table 21 mounting a substrate W, a moving means 21 for relatively moving the functional liquid droplet discharge head 18 in the X axis direction to the substrate W and a control means 7 for controlling them. The control means 7 controls the carriage 14, so that the direction of a nozzle line 64 comprising a plurality of nozzles is made parallel to the diagonal direction of each pixel region 507a and discharge scanning is performed, and the direction of the nozzle line 64 is changed from one diagonal direction of the each pixel region 507a to another diagonal direction at least in one discharge scanning operation among a plurality of times of the discharge scanning operations. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2006,JPO&NCIPI |
