<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve a problem that a countermeasure for glare is not sufficiently considered and that all light from an LED is not effectively utilized. <P>SOLUTION: This lamp comprises a semiconductor type light source 1 constructed of a light emitting body 5, a lens 2 which emits to the outside light from this light emitting body 5 as an image same as the shape of the light emitting body 5 and as a spot light distribution pattern SP, and a holder 3 for supporting the semiconductor type light source 1 and the lens in a prescribed position relation. The light emitting body 5 has at least one straight line side 8, 10 corresponding to cut-off lines CL1, CL2 of the light distribution pattern LP for a low-beam passing mode.
