<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a joint structure of a face plate of a golf club head in which the accuracy of assembling can be surely enhanced, the strength of joint can be reinforced, the reliability of the joint can be secured, and further the service life of the head can be elongated. <P>SOLUTION: A groove seat is formed in the front face of a head body, a first engaging protruding portion is formed in an annular shape around the groove seat. An annular shape wall is formed so as to extend and be folded from the periphery of the face plate to the head body in the face plate, a second engaging protruding portion is formed in a distal end of the annular shape wall. The first engaging protruding portion and the second protruding portion are mutually engaged and meshed, thereby the head body and the face plate are previously assembled and positioned, further a joint layer is formed between the first engaging protruding portion and the second engaging protruding portion. The two corresponding engaging protruding portions for mutually engaging and meshing are formed in the face plate and the head body, thereby they can be previously assembled and positioned, and a hard soldering layer or an adhering layer is formed between the two engaging protruding portions, thereby the accuracy of assembling can be surely raised, the strength of the joint can be reinforced, the reliability of the joint can be secured, further the service life of the head can be elongated. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2006,JPO&NCIPI</p> |
