PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent an image sound from being disconnected due to the switching of a decoder or the like in starting program recording or switching a service to be viewed afterwards in a digital broadcasting receiving device equipped with a plurality of decoders. SOLUTION: This digital broadcasting receiving device having at least two decoders is configured to tune in to the same program for the two decoders in a normal viewing status, and to assign the output of the first decoder for viewing and the output of the second decoder for recording. When a recording instruction from a user or the like is detected, the output for recording of the second decoder is shifted to a fixed status, and when the tuning request of the output for viewing is made in this status, only the first decoder is set so as to be tunable.
