PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an outdoor unit of an air conditioner for easily and surely installing electric equipment such as a reactor being a heavy cargo, while improving thermal stability of an electric equipment box by sufficiently cooling heat generated by the electric equipment such as the reactor. SOLUTION: The casing inside is partitioned into a wind circuit chamber 18 and a machine room 20 by a partition plate 16, and the electric equipment box 23 for storing the reactor 22 having a high calorific value heated in response to control of a compressor 19 is arranged on the wind circuit chamber 18 side of a lower part of the partition plate 16, and an upper surface of a reactor base 24 for constituting the electric equipment box 23 is fixed so as to be supported by a cut and raised part 16a formed on the partition plate 16.
